This is a starter kit designed for the excellent Battery Emulator (BE) project housed in a heavy duty IP65 enclosure. This DIY configuration is controlled by the Lilygo T-CAN485 ESP32 developer board which is the basis for the BE software.

The low voltage side is supplied with 85-264VAC on the left most push-in terminals which will supply the Meanwell 12VDC PSU through a 6A circuit breaker.

The battery positive and negative input is connected on the right most terminals that accepts up to 50mm² cables and the inverter output is connected to the DC isolator switch which accepts up to 16mm² connections.
This way the battery can be safely disconnected from the inverter and appropriate fuses will protect from over current.

All GPIO available on the Lilygo T-CAN485 are easy to access using the push-in terminal blocks making hardware extensions a breeze. Wires on the terminal blocks can be rearranged as needed and multiple blocks can be linked horizontally using the included bridges (red forks).

The DC high voltage hardware is designed to handle maximum 1000VDC at 30A. This is limited by the ceramic fuses included. Two equally specified fuses will be pre installed according to your selection. Extra fuses can be found here.

The main inputs and outputs preferably are installed through the bottom of the enclosure.
The accessory kit includes three sizes of cable glands to accommodate cable diameters of the following ranges and your own desired cable placement. M represents the hole diameter needed. A step drill bit is included to simplify the install.

M12 = 3-6.5mm | M16 = 5-10mm | M20 = 10-14mm

The manufacturers recommended torque has been applied to all pre installed screw terminals where applicable.

A 12V battery can be connected in parallell on the 12V line for a rudimentary UPS function to the Lilygo. The PSU does not have a dedicated battery charger terminal.

Every aspect of this kit is subject to change without notice. Assembly status as depicted and the kit is delivered as is without warranty. Manufacturers warranty for the included hardware applies. The buyer/user is responsible for any and all further assembly and operation. Expect 1-3 days of manufacturing time.

Please note that any installation involving regulated voltage levels are to be carried out by licenced individuals only. Local regulations apply. Redispose AB is not liable for direct or indirect damages that may arise from the use of the kit.
Redispose AB does not provide any software nor hardware support on the Lilygo platform. No software is included except a basic LED rainbow roll demo.
